Today was a hard day for so many, but we survived.
What happened today pushes back against all of this. It’s a push back against women themselves. There are a lot of ways I could write on this subject, but I’ve decided to tell you my story, what I have learned, and what I know.

I’m happy and admire the fact she found the strength to leave such a miserable situation. I myself have never lived in an abusive relationship. However, my life long best friend, my sister, was murdered by her abusive husband back in 2005. Her two beautiful young daughters were murdered as well. 😥
